The BALANCE Project Kick- off took place at the University of Alicante from 26th February 2019 to 1st March 2019.

The launching meeting was attended by a total of 44 members from the following Institutions:

Members of the BALANCE project shared Tuesday 26th February 2019 with more than 100 representatives from other two European Projects, also coordinated by the University of Alicante, in the areas of internationalization of Higher Education in Philippines (ANTENA) and Quality Assurance within Higher Education in Haiti (EMINENT). This first day was a good opportunity to network, understand the approach to capacity building in the European Union, get acquainted with EACEA project management practices and incentivize synergies between international projects.

During the following days BALANCE partners started specific activities having an in-depth look at the project structure and workplan. Moreover, the University of Alicante and the University of Genoa shared their good practices on Financial Management through the Site Visits.
